How large is this fund? ⌄

The inaugural fund has dedicated $1,000,000 to invest in catalyzing Objectivist intellectuals launching careers and producing new intellectual products.

Will you consider funding my project if it’s not listed among the examples? ⌄

The examples provided are indicative, not exhaustive. We’d love to hear about innovative, creative intellectual outputs that align with ARI’s mission.

Are only ARU and Intellectual Incubator alumni eligible to apply? ⌄

We expect that many applicants will be alumni, but we welcome applications from beyond that community.

Would any grants be renewable? ⌄

Yes, sometimes; for instance, with a career-launch grant, or with time-intensive products, such as writing a book.

How does the application process work? ⌄

There are two stages. The first is pitching your idea with a short application. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. We will reply within 30 days. If your application moves to stage two, we will notify you of any further information needed. Grant decisions are made quarterly, in January, April, July, and October.
