To Frank Lloyd Wright [Letter 122]

Item Reference Code: 102_21A_024_001

Date(s) of creation

October 5, 1957

Recipient

Frank Lloyd Wright

Transcript

On September 19, 1957, Wright wrote to AR, thanking her for a copy of Atlas Shrugged she had sent him and wondering “why this long silence.” He hoped she had not rejected her former thesis and that John Galt was still “the uncommon man.” “We look forward,” he wrote, “to just what you have designed.” At that time, he had read only the first chapter.
