Thank you for your nice letter.

Don’t ever apologize for your brains, if you were able to understand and enjoy THE FOUNTAINHEAD. As you see, I do not apologize for saying this.

Do not be surprised if you have found intellectuals who do not like my book. They are the Ellsworth Tooheys of our present age.

I am enclosing a printed letter which will answer your questions about me. As to my name, it is pronounced to rhyme with “mine”.
