Continued schedule of chapters [Part II]

This page is part of the previous item, finishing up Rand’s 1940 revision of her outline for Part II of the novel.

This page is interesting because it shows that Rand was still working out the sequence of events for this part, particularly how Dominique comes to marry Keating. As written here, Dominique is involved in the Aquitania Hotel (the “Unfinished Symphony”) project as a stockholder, and it is the cessation of work on that project of Roark’s that drives her to marry Keating. This is followed by the Stoddard Temple and subsequent trial, and (in another departure from the final story) Roark going to live in the unfinished hotel building.
