“To do”
This single page of notes is not dated, but probably comes from early in Rand’s drafting of Part I, based on her comment of “when Part I is finished” and the inclusion still of Vesta Dunning’s character, who was later cut from the story.
Rand noted here that after she had completed Part I, she wanted to go back and make “schedules of development” for many of the characters (see next item).
Also of interest here are her questions for herself, which are largely philosophical in nature, but with Rand giving herself the task of deciding if she should include a particular philosophical issue in the story, and if so, how to appropriately incorporate it into a work of fiction.
